Chocolate Whole-Grain Protein Pancakes rich in fiber, protein, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates. Great pre-workout snack… especially before heavy weight training. *Not a meal for dieter’s due to carb balance.
- 1 whole egg
- 10-12 Oz. almond milk
- 2 scoops of chocolate 100% whey protein
- 1.5 cup whole wheat pancake mix
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 tsp. flax oil
- 3 tbsp. whole flax seed
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 5-7 drops of almond extract
Makes about 6 pancakes (approx. 13.5 grams protein per pancake):
Protein per ingredient: pancake mix 24gr, almond milk 4gr, whole flax seeds 6gr, egg 7gr, whey protein 40gr = 81gr.
